Deep in Virtual Reality with Minority Media

We wrapped a green screen shoot for Minority Media to launch the trailer of their new virtual reality video game, Time Machine VR. When our client approached us, they already had a director and concept in mind. We offered a turn-key production solution including cinematography services, 4K camera kit, studio space, lights, and green screen.

When filming green screen, we recommend capturing in 4K resolution to allow for ultra-high definition detail when keying or compositing in post-production. This ensures the visual compositor has every pixel to work with when isolating subjects against the CG environments that define a VR game trailer.

Fast Turnaround, Impressive Results

With an efficient in-house production and Minority Media's fast turnaround, the first trailer for the game launched less than a week after our shoot. It was fascinating to explore the realistic, responsive, and convincing graphic representation of the new immersive technology.

We are definitely excited to get buried deep into the marvels of virtual reality in our future projects. For now, all we can say is that we can't wait to play Time Machine VR.
