Corporate Video Production

Corporate video doesn't have to mean corporate boring. We produce polished, story-driven videos that help businesses communicate clearly, build credibility, and connect with the audiences that matter most — employees, customers, investors, and partners.

A corporate video is often the first serious introduction to your company.

It lives on your website, supports client conversations, and helps people quickly understand what you do and why it matters. When structured well, it becomes a reliable asset across sales, marketing, recruitment, and internal communication.

At Black Box Productions, corporate video is approached as a communication tool built around your positioning and business context.

What We Produce

Corporate video projects are built to deliver more than a single film. From one production, we typically develop a set of assets that can be used across different channels.

  • Company profile films for website and presentations
  • Executive and leadership interviews
  • Case study and customer segments
  • Short format edits for social and digital use
  • Visual libraries for ongoing content

Each piece is designed to stay consistent in message while working in different environments.

Where It Is Used

Corporate video supports multiple parts of the business.

  • Website and brand introduction
  • Sales and client presentations
  • Investor and partner communication
  • Recruitment and employer branding
  • Events and trade shows
  • LinkedIn and other professional networking platforms

Our Work

Corporate video takes different forms depending on the business objective behind it. In each case, our approach begins with understanding what the video needs to achieve, then shaping the narrative and execution around that purpose. The following examples show how Black Box Productions applies that approach across different industries and production needs, from toy and entertainment campaigns to restaurant branding, automotive content, and technology. Each project reflects a tailored production strategy designed around the client’s objectives, audience, and real world use case.

MSC Canada

Mediterranean Shipping Company required a corporate film that positioned its Canadian operations within the scale and reach of its multi-billion dollar global shipping network. The video needed to communicate operational strength while reinforcing MSC’s presence across major Canadian port cities.

Black Box Productions supported production across Montreal, Halifax, and Vancouver, coordinating multi-location filming to capture the breadth of MSC’s Canadian infrastructure. Drone cinematography was used to position ports against recognizable city skylines, helping establish geographic scale and international connectivity.

The final film helped reinforce MSC Canada’s position as a major player in global shipping while giving the organization a polished corporate asset that could support sales, recruitment and stakeholder communications.

ABB Electrification Canada

ABB needed a corporate film that reinforced its leadership in electrification and industrial technology while grounding the message in real world applications and Canadian operations.

Original footage was filmed inside ABB warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and office environments to showcase real operations and infrastructure. To support ABB’s global positioning, the production also incorporated archival assets from the company’s international media library alongside carefully selected stock footage, all woven together into a cohesive visual narrative through editing, sound design, and motion graphics.

The finished film positioned ABB as a forward-looking technology and infrastructure partner while helping communicate the scale, sophistication, and real-world impact of its work.

DNV Employee Spotlight

DNV developed an employee spotlight film focused on collaboration, trust, and the culture behind high performing distributed teams. The goal was to create a more personal and human centered story that reflected the organization’s values and long-term mission.

For this production, Black Box Productions deployed a nimble four-person crew to film an interview with the featured participant in her home environment. The team captured a focused one-hour interview alongside observational B-roll showing both professional responsibilities and time spent with family after school. The production approach prioritized authenticity, helping create a film that felt grounded and emotionally credible rather than overly scripted.

By centering the story around lived experience, the final video reinforced DNV’s people-first culture while creating a more authentic connection between the organization, its employees, and future talent.

Our Approach

Every project starts with alignment.

We work with you to define what the video needs to communicate, who it is for, and where it will be used. From there, we structure the narrative and move into production with a clear direction.

Our process typically covers:

  • Strategy and messaging alignment
  • Creative development and scripting
  • Production and filming
  • Postproduction and delivery

This ensures the final output reflects both your positioning and your standards.

What to Expect

A well developed corporate video should be clear, focused, and usable across multiple contexts.

Most films run between two to three minutes, with additional cutdowns created for different platforms. Messaging is kept concise and built around core strengths so the content remains relevant over time.

Production timelines vary depending on scope, but most projects move from planning to published video in under two months.

When to Consider Corporate Video

Companies typically invest in corporate video when there is a need to communicate more clearly at scale.

  • Entering a new market
  • Updating or refining positioning
  • Preparing for investor or partner discussions
  • Strengthening digital presence
  • Supporting recruitment efforts

These are moments where a clear introduction makes a difference.
