Skywriter in Flight on Air Canada

If you were flying Air Canada in February 2010, all you had to do was set your in-flight entertainment to the "CODE Motion Pictures" channel for a sneak peek of Skywriter — a short film produced by Black Box Productions.

Selected for Air Canada's curated in-flight film channel, Skywriter brought original Canadian short film content directly to audiences at 35,000 feet. The selection represented a milestone for the production: a Black Box Productions original reaching a national audience through one of Canada's most iconic brands.

The film is an aerial production that captures the art and spectacle of skywriting — a rare and visually arresting craft that has largely vanished from modern skies.
